Disclosures
How this site works, in plain terms.
A referral service
SussexDELandClearing.com connects landowners in Sussex County, Delaware, with independent contractors. It doesn't clear, mulch, grind, haul, or grade anything itself, and it doesn't employ the contractors it refers.
How the site is paid
Contractors pay to receive referrals or to advertise here. Landowners never pay anything.
One contractor per request
Each request goes to one contractor who serves your area, not to a list of companies.
Contractors answer for their own work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship, and warranties, and any agreement for work is between you and that contractor. Every contractor doing business in Delaware needs a Delaware business license, which you can check on the Division of Revenue's business license search. Ask for a certificate of insurance before work starts. Who clears land explains what else to check.
Calls may be recorded
Calls to the site's phone number may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
Sources and brands
No equipment maker sponsors or endorses this site. Rules, fees, and cost figures come from the state, county, and federal pages linked beside them and from the national cost guides named, as of the date given on each page. They are general information, not legal advice. The office named on each page has the final word on its rules, and a contractor's written quote is the price that applies to your land.
